On a late-summer evening with the city abuzz from the Toronto International Film Festival, 3 magazine gathered friends and partners from around the world to mark a defining moment: its first anniversary.
The exclusive celebration unfolded at the sleek rooftop lounge at Harriet’s—perched atop 1 Hotel with sweeping views of downtown Toronto—commemorating one year of inspiring creative vision and celebrating third-culture storytelling. Illustrious guests included representatives from top luxury brands and PR agencies, 3 magazine ambassadors Hani Roustom, Kundan Joshi, Ashley McKenzie Barns and Lily Li, and past cover stars Christian Weedbrook and Abdullah Snobar.
The evening also marked the launch of the gorgeous Fall 2025 issue and a new, larger format featuring Canadian icon Lilly Singh on the cover. Attendees enjoyed reimagined classic cocktails named after previous issue themes (Home, Innovation, Tradition) alongside a lavish sushi bar and globally-inspired hors d’oeuvres.
Beauty partners MAC Cosmetics and Batiste provided guests with makeup and hair touch-ups before stepping into the 3 photo studio. There, they were immersed in a Moroccan-inspired salon with layered rugs, jewel-toned pillows, and a warm, communal atmosphere. Each guest received a digital portrait as a keepsake, capturing the spirit of the evening.
Kristen Vinakmens, Editor-in-Chief of 3 magazine, remarked on 3’s exciting milestone and new Fall edition. “With this issue, we’re unveiling a bold new vision of 3 magazine with even more captivating visuals, culturally relevant content, and, at the heart of it, the theme of connection.”
Co-founder and publisher Muraly Srinarayanathas also touched on 3’s purpose in today’s media landscape: “We are a global, smart, luxury publication. With all of the polarizing conversations happening in the world today, we’re looking for that middle path that connects us. Subscribing to 3 isn’t about subscribing to just any publication. It’s subscribing to the reminder that we’re one in this world.”
