Justin Ling

Justin Ling is a freelance investigative journalist based in Montreal. His work covers national security, politics, misinformation, policing, conflict, and so much more. His first book, Missing From the Village, was published in 2020; and his next book, on the history and politics of riot policing, is due out eventually. His is a contributing columnist to The Toronto Star, and a regular contributor to 3 Magazine, WIRED, Foreign Policy, and The Walrus. He also writes the Bug-eyed and Shameless newsletter.
