Baljit Singh

Baljit Singh is an analog photographer and multidisciplinary artist based in Mississauga, Canada. Her work blends nostalgia with contemporary storytelling, exploring themes of immigration, identity, and social issues within the South Asian community. Baljit's approach invites viewers to witness the raw, natural and at times the re-imagined selves of her subjects, spanning a spectrum from glossy editorials to intimate documentaries. As the co-founder of The Kollective, she amplifies underrepresented artists while expanding her creative practice into writing, graphic design, and documentary filmmaking.
